The Canadian Biotechnology Action Network (CBAN) has a new pamphlet called “Why Your Food Choices Matter,” for you to distribute at farmers’ markets, local events, local health food stores, and in your CSA boxes. Do your customers need more information? The goal of the pamphlet is to help people commit, or re-commit, to making organic food choices, and to buying locally and directly from farmers.

The pamphlet introduces organic farming and provides the list of genetically engineered (genetically modified or GM) foods on the market in Canada. It strives to be a take-home reference to support your conversations with the public.

Are you a farmer with a CSA or market stand? Are you an engaged community member who organizes or participates in local events? Share this pamphlet with your customers and community members.
