Join us for a virtual field day with Ryerson Urban Farm.  The Ryerson Urban Farm aims to build capacity for rooftop farming through production, research and engagement. The Urban Farm operates rooftop growing spaces on Ryerson University’s campus using spray-free, ecological methods. The farm is designed in the market garden tradition, with over 50 crops and more than 100 cultivars. Participants will be sent a pre-recorded video and then a live discussion, question and answer session.

This event is offered as part of the Ignatius Farm New Farmer Training Program. Educational content is geared toward new farmers, but is open to all farmers who might be curious about a certain topic, wishing to expand their farming knowledge, or in need of a refresh.

Anyone wishing to attend the full Term 2 can register here. Registering for Term 2 does not require you to register for each individual session.
