Learn how to make black gold! Making compost is a great way to feed your soil by recycling nutrients on the farm, in your backyard or even in your city apartment with vermi-composting bins. This webinar includes a live composting demo, with detailed steps on setting up and trouble-shooting your outdoor or indoor compost system. A recording of this webinar will be available.

Facilitator: Angel Beyde, Good Fortune Farmstead

This webinar is offered as part of the Ignatius Farm New Farmer Training Program. Educational content is geared toward new farmers, but is open to all farmers who might be curious about a certain topic, wishing to expand their farming knowledge, or in need of a refresh.

Anyone wishing to attend the full Term 2 can register here. Registering for Term 2 does not require you to register for each individual session.

In order to make our training and community building events accessible to all farmers (and future farmers) in Ontario, the Ignatius New Farmer Training Program strives to cover registration fees for anyone facing financial barriers. Need assistance covering the registration fee? Let us know!
