What is organic agriculture? What does regenerative mean? What is the difference between permaculture, agroecology, and biodynamic farming? Join us for a discussion about the language of ecological agriculture and start thinking about how and where your farm might fit.

Registration for this webinar includes both Part 1, from 9:00am – 10:30am, and Part 2, from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.

Speaker: Thorsten Arnold, Grey-Bruce Centre for Agroecology and Persephone Market Garden

This webinar is offered as part of the Ignatius Farm New Farmer Training Program. Educational content is geared toward new farmers, but is open to all farmers who might be curious about a certain topic, wishing to expand their farming knowledge, or in need a refresh.

Anyone wishing to attend the full Term 1 can do so here. Registering for Term 1 does not require you to register for each individual session.

In order to make our training and community building events accessible to all farmers (and future farmers) in Ontario, the Ignatius New Farmer Training Program strives to cover registration fees for anyone facing financial barriers. Need assistance covering the registration fee? Let us know!
