Did you know that farm worker rights differ from general employee rights? Many new farm workers are uninformed about their rights and responsibilities. This webinar will clarify the different rights and responsibilities relevant to people working on Ontario farms.

Facilitator: David Thompson, Farm Labour Project Coordinator for the National Farmers Union-Ontario

This webinar is offered as part of the Ignatius Farm New Farmer Training Program. Educational content is geared toward new farmers, but is open to all farmers who might be curious about a certain topic, wishing to expand their farming knowledge, or in need of a refresh.

Anyone wishing to attend the full Term 1 can do so here. Registering for Term 1 does not require you to register for each individual session.

In order to make our training and community building events accessible to all farmers (and future farmers) in Ontario, the Ignatius New Farmer Training Program strives to cover registration fees for anyone facing financial barriers. Need assistance covering the registration fee? Let us know!
