Virtual Field Day: The Conscious Kitchen

The Conscious Kitchen is a prepared meal, recipe box, and grocery subscription service that helps you eat in alignment with your values. Their mission is to create a community-based hub that connects people who care about where their food is coming from, who’s growing and making it, and how it’s impacting the planet. They want to change the food system for the better, and that starts with making sustainable food more accessible. Participants will be sent a pre-recorded video and then join us for a live discussion, question and answer session.

 

This event is offered as part of the Ignatius Farm New Farmer Training Program. Educational content is geared toward new farmers, but is open to all farmers who might be curious about a certain topic, wishing to expand their farming knowledge, or in need of a refresh.

 

Anyone wishing to attend the full Term 3 can register here. Registering for Term 3 does not require you to register for each individual session.

 

In order to make our training and community building events accessible to all farmers (and future farmers) in Ontario, the Ignatius New Farmer Training Program strives to cover registration fees for anyone facing financial barriers. Need assistance covering the registration fee? Let us know!
