Valleyfield Farm is a small farm with a big commitment to regenerative agriculture.  Since 2009, Martti and Melanie Lemieux have been planting, growing, harvesting, grazing, and raising flavour-rich, nutrient-dense greens and grass-fed, pasture-raised meats and eggs for the families of Algoma. In this tour, Martti and Melanie share how the farm’s rotational grazing, diversity and infrastructure has evolved over the years to optimize overall performance. Part of the tour features a recent investment in high tunnel irrigation to expand the gardens and perennial fruit orchard.
