With a footprint of about a half acre, Spiral Farm is a human-scale market garden growing uncertified organic produce, with a focus on the reduction of tillage, fossil fuel use, and animal-based inputs. The farm began on an urban plot in Fergus, and now Martina rents land in rural Elora. Take a virtual tour of the farm, and hear more about growing on a small footprint and a shoestring budget. 

This event is offered as part of the Ignatius Farm New Farmer Training Program. Educational content is geared toward new farmers, but is open to all farmers who might be curious about a certain topic, wishing to expand their farming knowledge, or in need of a refresh.
