This meet-up is open to anyone who identifies as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Come out, come out to the second-ever EFAO Queer Farmer Meet-up! This is an opportunity for anyone in the 2SLGBTQIA+ umbrella who is passionate about growing food to connect with others, make friends, and build community. Whether you are growing food in the city, producing food in a rural setting, pining for your queer farming dream, or are somewhere in between, you are welcome in this group!

This meet-up will feature a presentation by PhD candidate Rachel Everett-Fry of her research on the experiences of queer farmers and homesteaders in Ontario. After the presentation, participants will be invited to discuss queer-friendly farming resources to build the network of knowledge and resources available to queer folx interested in food, farming, and/or rural living.
