Do you want to produce some of your seed on-farm? Rebecca Ivanoff, Seed Program Manager at EFAO, discusses which crops are easiest for beginner-level seed production, how to plan your plot to minimize cross pollination, the number of plants required to maintain genetic viability and varietal strength, as well as how to collect, clean and store your seed.

This event is offered as part of the Ignatius Farm New Farmer Training Program. Educational content is geared toward new farmers, but is open to all farmers who might be curious about a certain topic, wishing to expand their farming knowledge, or in need a refresh.
