As interest in cultivating small grains for local processing, retail, and consumption grows, a crop we’ve heard about time and time again is hulless oats. Free of the inedible hull – these oats require one less step as they go from field to breakfast! However, we know growers in our Small Grains Network have faced challenges accessing seed and preserving the quality of these oats.
