Brett Israel of 3Gen Organics will share highlights of the successes and challenges on his path to reducing tillage in an organic farm system. Along with the highs of 250 bu/ac organic corn to the lows of 20 bu/ac organic soybeans, Brett will share learnings from his Living Lab – Ontario trials looking at organic systems for no-till soybeans and reduced-till soybeans, and “alfalfa-fueled corn” — organic field corn that they grow with alfalfa as the sole source of additional nitrogen.
