Are you interested in raising meat chickens for your family, community, or farm sales? Join Annette Peltier-Flamand, Agricultural Resources Management Coordinator for Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory, to learn how to get started. Topics will include set-up, housing, feeding and day-to-day care for raising meat chickens from chicks to maturity. Annette will also talk about the Artisanal Chicken Program with the Chicken Farmers of Ontario, which enables Annette and her team to produce chicken for the Wiikwemkoong community.

We will have a raffle at the end of the webinar, where all participants present will have a chance to win a copy of the book: “Raising Amazing Chicks” by Dr. Scott Gillingham!

About the speaker: Annette Peltier-Flamand is from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory in northern Ontario.
