With ever-changing algorithms and balancing day-to-day farm tasks, social media and digital marketing can feel overwhelming, with little return. In this advanced session you will learn how to bypass algorithm changes, effectively speak to your target audience, and turn your marketing efforts into tangible sales. Participants will discuss how to effectively use Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Email Marketing in light of ever-evolving algorithm changes. This webinar will be taught by farmer and florist Akosua Asare. Prior to becoming a farmer, Akosua ran a 6-figure e-commerce business that helped land her on CBC Dragon’s Den. During this session with EFAO, she will share what she learned and how she’s applied those lessons to marketing her farm business, re.Planted.
About the Instructor:
Akosua Asare is the head farmer & florist at re.Planted Farm & Floral Studio in Deep River, Ontario. She grows vegetables and cuts flowers for the market using regenerative growing practices on just under 1500sq ft of space. In her former life, Akosua ran an e-commerce business that helped land her on CBC’s Dragons Den. Drawing from this experience, Akosua effectively utilizes social media to grow her farm business, both locally and across Canada.
