This meet-up is open to anyone who identifies as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Did you enjoy our Queer Farmer lunch together at the conference? Or did you have to miss it and catch some FOMO? Come out to our next VIRTUAL Meet-up! 

This is an opportunity for anyone in the 2SLGBTQIA+ umbrella who is passionate about growing food to connect with others, make friends, and build community. Whether you are growing food in the city, producing food in a rural setting, in the dreaming stage of your queer farming life, or are somewhere in between, you are welcome in this group!

We’ll take the first half of this meet-up to introduce ourselves and get to know each other with some fun icebreakers. 

With anti-trans legislation on the rise in North America, we’ll take most of the second half to share resources, petitions, letter templates and simple steps we can all take to work to advocate for and protect our queer and trans friends and siblings. Bring your ideas, petition links, and any info to share about harmful anti-queer and anti-trans legislation folks are working to oppose. The work is heavy, but it’s lighter when we all lift together. 

We’ll close out the meeting with encouragement and affirmations for each other. 

Your privacy is important to us. The Zoom event will be password-protected (password will be emailed to registrants) and who we see and what we share in this session will be kept confidential. We hope you feel comfortable to join, no matter where you are in your queerness journey.
