2020 Virtual Research Symposium & Participatory Workshop
Monday November 30 @ 11:00 am - Thursday December 3 @ 11:00 am
Tickets include admission to the virtual Research Symposium on Monday November 3o and the virtual Research & Seed Participatory Workshop on Thursday December 3.
The Research Symposium is an online gathering where farmer-researchers share the findings from their on-farm research from the season. This year’s research focused on no-till vegetable production, amendments to hasten emergence of small grains, reduced protein for heritage chickens, tomato grafting on different varieties, rapid regeneration of land for vegetable production, the best summer and fall lettuce varieties, sweet potato variety trials, and updates on other variety and breeding trials.
The Research & Seed Programs Participatory Workshop is the space to plan farmer-led research projects for the upcoming years. Working with other farmers with similar research ideas, this workshop is the central place to ask questions about farmer-led research and work through your ideas for an on-farm research trial.
If you are interested in conducting research or want to learn about this year’s projects, please join us!
